Creating your Ceremony
This can be a lot of fun and I am here to make it easy for you.
You have many choices - I can write it for you, we can write it together or you can create your own ceremony based around legal requirements.
In order to plan your ceremony we need to make contact.
- Either on the phone or by email
- If you live locally we can meet in person
- I will present you with a full kit of information to guide you through the process.
- Together we will work through your ceremony
- Prior to the ceremony we will meet at your chosen venue or area and go over the proceedings and ceremony with both of you.
Ceremony Structure
- The Introduction should welcome your guests and contextualise why you have gathered everyone to witness your intentions to be joined together in marriage.
- The centre of the service has promises, vows and the exchange of rings.
- The conclusion of the ceremony confirms what has occurred and the formal documents are signed by you and your two witnesses. The marrying couple now seal the ceremony with a kiss.
- Many couples choose a simple but meaningful ceremony and often include poetry, prose, music and songs: all elements that can be built into ceremonies to personalise them to create a unique occasion
My role is to make your service a relaxing and very memorable day and remember, as you celebrate your wedding day, words will have the power to be an uplifting, joyful expression of your heartfelt emotions.
